In a few weeks we will be heading back to Rincon for about 12 days. Although we’re not there in the summer, it’s still the best time to plant some new fruit trees and maybe a few plants that can take care of themselves. The rainy season is coming up so I won’t have to worry about them.
Over the past few years we’ve planted a few things in the front yard (if you want to call it a yard, more of a cement pad). It’s too hot there for much to thrive. I have a few aloe plants and some rosemary. A few trees that require no attention also live there and I recently found one of my lime trees that I thought was long dead, alive and attempting to thrive. It’s sort of spindly and has a few leaves on it, but the thorns are proliferous.
